Northwind's EdgeNorthwind developed automated software to design custom stainless steel conveyors and stainless steel conveyor systems via a visual basic interface to 3-D modeling software.
This allows a design of custom stainless steel conveyors to be completed in 7 minutes regardless of belt style, belt width, sprocket size, infeed height, etc.
During the 7 minutes. all data for the stainless steel CNC machining, laser cutting and CNC press brake operations is extracted from the
3-D model, e.g., shaft machining, bearing mounts, motor mount, sides, foot pads, etc. At completion Northwind has a 3-D model of the stainless steel conveyor and a comprehensive conveyor quote, leaving no detail out and no surprises as manufacturing proceeds. The price you are quoted is the price you are charged for the custom sanitary stainless steel conveyor.

| Northwind's specializes in Manufacturing Custom Sanitary Stainless Steel Conveyor Systems including infeed conveyors, outfeed conveyors, flat conveyors, incline conveyors and radius conveyors meeting all USDA requirements. All custom conveyors are manufactured from Polished 304 Stainless Steel with options of adjustable foot pads or casters, hydraulic or electric drive and type of belt. Drip pans and belt washes can be included if required. Northwind's experienced design team will assist you to determine what options meet your needs. Stainless Steel Conveyor ConstructionNorthwind Stainless Steel Conveyor Systems are manufactured from polished 304 Stainless Steel and incorporates UHMW wear strips on both the carryway and return. Bearings consist of plastic housings and have USDA approved Stainless Steel inserts. Northwind's designed molded return shoes are used on the conveyor systems allowing for easy cleaning, easy replacement and they prevent belt rubbing - extending the life of the belt. |

Parker Hydraulic Motors or Baldor Electric Motors are utilized assuring smooth, long lasting operation. Roller Bed Conveyors Side frames are manufactured from laser cut 12 ga. 304 #3 Stainless Steel. Frame is made from 1 ½” 14 ga 304 #3 Tube or 1 ½” x 3/16” Stainless Steel angle. Legs incorporate Stainless Steel adjustable ( +/- 3") inserts on Stainless Steel foot pads or can be placed on casters. Width, length and height are made to customer specifications.
